Challenge

Our client required to build an app which involved users commenting and posting similar to facebook. The only challenge was to develop the app with minimal memory usage because once it acquires million user it will start getting slow as facebook happened a while ago. So we tried to optimise its frontend as much as possible which led to client satisfaction at the end.

Our solution

The solution was that saving all the paged data and after some time if the data usage is not been made the app has to clear them out. This way lots of memory can be saved during run time.

Living local home

The home page of user consist of all the activities from the hooders who are in connection. Also the comment part is similar to other social apps giving you the access to text comment easily. User can easily navigate to various screens from side menu as well

Profile and top hooders

Profile creation of the user lets him upload picture and description about him. Invites, my groups, my events can be easily navigated just in case user wants to check them. Top hooders are the users sorted in ranking according to their ranking and the activities

Events and groups

The app has features enclosing to join events ongoing in nearby localities. This way people can interact with each other and it creates great platform for Local Awareness, Citizen Complaints, Social Causes, Kids & Parenting, Pets, Food & Nightlife are a few of the categories of conversation on the Living Local platform.
